The Arsenal manager, 61, responded to criticism of the team's failure to win a trophy for six years by insisting: "I'm no quitter."
Wenger said: "I have never considered quitting and I will go on for another 20 years if I can. I extended my contract for three years and I always respect my contracts. I cannot ask my players to respect their contracts if I don't do it."
"If the shareholders offer me a contract I assume they are happy with what I am doing and the way I run the club. If they are unhappy then they let me know, don't worry," The Daily Express quoted him, as saying.
"We are second in the league and everybody keeps asking me if I should give up. What kind of world do we live in?
"I try to get the team to play decent football so that the people who come are not bored. I think we can have a clear conscious that we do not try to cheat our people," he added
