The raging war between Lalit Modi and N Srinivasan took an ugly turn on Monday when the latter accused Chennai Super Kings of playing an underhand role in Rajasthan Cricket Association's decision to use a new strip for the Rajasthan Royals-Chennai Super Kings game at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
"I don't want to waste my time and energy reacting to statements made by a man, who is involved in innumerable scams. He is wanted by Indian authorities on several charges. What he has to say is irrelevant to Indian cricket, and everyone knows that," Srinivasan told MiD DAY.
"Why are you guys (the media) giving him so much attention? Does he deserve it? The BCCI has already issued a press release regarding this issue, I have nothing more to say about it," added the BCCI secretary.
