Barcelona midfielder Xavi has dedicated the club's 21st La Liga title to the people of the Catalan city.

A 1-1 away draw against Levante was enough to hand Pep Guardiola's men their third successive La Liga trophy, the club's most successful era since the coach was a player under Johan Cruyff in the early 90s.

Mali midfielder Seydo Keita headed in a 27th minute opener for Barcelona only for Ecuadorian striker Felipe Caicedo to equalise for Levante on 40 minutes.

Xaviu00a0 was keen to praise the whole of Barcelona for their support.

"As is always the case, the league has been hard but this team has a lot of talent," Xavi told Spanish media after the game.

"We must congratulate the whole of Barcelona because we are all one big team. The fans deserve our love and we celebrate with them on the streets."

The side now has the chance to win an impressive double when they face Manchester United in the Champions League final at Wembley on May 28.

Before that, the club have two final La Liga fixtures to play, starting with the visit of Deportivo to Camp Nou on Sunday.
