"We’ve never heard the players’ voice till now so we needed it [the players association],” said Yuvraj, citing the case of Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who recently took a break due to mental health issues. "He [Maxwell] took a break because he felt he needed it, but Indian cricketers can’t do that because they fear they’ll lose place their place in the team. So, the players association is very important to the Indian cricket team,” he said.
Yuvraj is all set for a new challenge — a T10 League in Abu Dhabi — where he will play for Maratha Arabians from November 15.
The event will be telecast on Sony Six and Sony Ten 3. Asked about his strategy for this format of the game, Yuvraj said: "Swing hard because of there is no time at all."
