Zaheer said Ishant has already given a good account of his talent by cementing his place in the side in no time and the beanpole pacer would go on to serve the country for a long time.
"In one year, Ishant has established himself in the Indian team. This itself tells how talented he is. He is a good learner and always willing to work. I really quite enjoy bowling with him," Zaheer said.
"I am sure Ishant will play many more matches for India. Yes, we also have a new crop of bowlers, that is why there is tremendous competition as well, as far as pace bowling is concerned," he added. The left-arm seamer felt zeal to work hard and sticking together as a unit in times of crisis were the secrets of India's recent success. "It was a very good season for me and for the team.
