There was sharp criticism on social media for Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma's presence alongside husband — India cricket captain Virat Kohli — and the team during a dinner event at the High Commission of India in London on Tuesday.

Twitterati lashed out at BCCI, who posted this picture (left) via its official Twitter handle, with Anushka standing right in front, with Kohli. Pointing out that vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane was standing right at the back, one online user wrote, "Vice captain is in last row and First Lady of Indian cricket is in front row.
