Prithvi put up 104 for the first wicket with Rushiraj Karia (41) before holing out to mid-off. That was the only relief the visitors got as they were later sent on a leather hunt by Jaffer. <br /><br />The young lad hit 27 boundaries in his 146-ball knock before being asked to retire. He scripted a partnership of 152 runs with Karia whose contribution was only 26 runs. Vengsarkar XI made a token declaration which gave Varroc 10 overs to bat.
