Pic/Getty Images Following the Bombay High Court&rsquo;s direction to constitute a fresh probe into the spot fixing scandal concerning Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, the BCCI cannot afford to be thick-skinned and continue to roll along in a scenario where the public in the main are not convinced by the probe conducted by a two-man committee comprising two retired judges. There is some level of suspicion that Srinivasan appointed these two gentlemen himself while it is established that Sanjay Jagdale and Ajay Shirke &mdash; BCCI secretary and treasurer when the controversy broke out &mdash; were not aware of this appointment. Poor showing Their ignorance in the appointment of the panel indicates that there is no respect for procedure, let alone transparency. It is only right that the key members of the Board who make up the Working Committee urge Srinivasan and other big wigs to form a new probe team. Needless to say, everyone should be apprised. This is nothing extraordinary to expect; only the right way of doing things. The BCCI should indulge in good cricket. What does a Test batsman do when he confronts a new session of play? Take fresh guard and put his head down to play with grit. And yes, if he is dismissed, accept the umpire&rsquo;s decision. The BCCI has resisted the use of the Decision Review System since 2008. They have their reasons and they are vindicated now with every passing howler in the Ashes series. They need not &lsquo;review&rsquo; the High Court&rsquo;s decision. Instead, form a panel with the best possible integrity to cure cricket&rsquo;s biggest ill.u00a0Indian cricket&rsquo;s off-field rehabilitation must start today. u00a0
