The Indian Cricket Board has termed reports of it closing down operations of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore by May-end as false.
The BCCI on Friday rubbished a news report that it intended to close down the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore and convert it into a rehabilitation-cum-training centre.
"It's a totally false report arising out of the figment of imagination of the person who wrote it. The BCCI annually assesses the functions of the NCA and its three regional academies based in Chennai, Mumbai and Mohali," said Prof Ratnakar Shetty, BCCI's General Manager, Game Development.
