He has declined deals with Western Australia or Australia for the first time since he moved from Melbourne to Perth in 2012, making it clear he is looking for greener pastures elsewhere

Australia`s spinner Ashton Agar feels that it is time to look beyond the country`s cricket and explore new opportunities in franchise cricket.
Ashton Agar has been named in Australia`s T20 World Cup 2024 squad which is being hosted in the USA and the West Indies. So far, he has played five test matches and 70 limited-over matches. During the Ashes 2013, coming in to bat at number 11, Agar scored 98 runs.
