Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni today praised Suresh Raina and Mike Hussey for setting up Chennai Super Kings' comfortable four-wicket win over the Titans in a high-scoring Champions League Twenty20 match here today
Hussey (47) and Raina (47) swung the match decisively in CSK's favour with their 89-run stand in just 44 balls for the second-wicket, which helped them chased down the daunting target of 186 with seven balls to spare at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium.
"It was a difficult target to chase, but Raina and Hussey batted really well. We were just looking to see how the first ten overs were going to turn out as the ball would be drier and could swing. But they saw through that period well and after that they attacked and put the bad balls away which is very important during a chase like this," said Dhoni at the post-match presentation ceremony.
