Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar's father Kiran Pal Singh passed away on Thursday, May 20, in Meerut. Bhuvneshwar Kumar's father was suffering from liver cancer and his illness was detected in September 2020.

After Bhuvneshwar Kumar's father's condition got worse, he was hospitalised in Meerut at a private facility and was discharged on Tuesday. However, two days later, the SRH pacer's father succumbed to cancer.
Kiran Pal Singh was a retired sub-inspector in the Uttar Pradesh police.
Meanwhile, the Indian cricket fraternity went on to pay their condolences to Bhuvneshwar and his family on social media with many of his teammates posting messages.
