The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Working Committee started its emergency meeting today to decide the fate of the second edition of the Indian Premier League.

The IPL has been put into doldrums due to security concerns as it coincides with the Lok Sabha elections and is yet to get the Union Home Ministry's clearance.
