Star Rajasthan Royals batter Jos Buttler is “disappointed” with his form in the last few games, but said he is taking a lot of confidence from the big knocks that he had played early in the tournament going into the IPL play-offs.

The English wicketkeeper-batter has accumulated 629 runs at a strike rate of 147, including three hundreds and three fifties, this season but has slowed down in the business end of the tournament with single digit scores—2, 2, 7—in his last-three outings.

“I’ve obviously been delighted with my form in the IPL, but a bit disappointed with the last few games,” said Buttler, 31, ahead of RR’s first qualifier against Gujarat Titans at the Edens Gardens on Tuesday. “I was playing some of the best cricket from the first half, and I’m still taking lots of confidence from that going into the play-offs.”
