Dharamsi Morarji Chemicals (DMC) have decided to revive their cricket team after a decade. The company has tied up with a Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) affiliated club, United Cricketers.

The firm has given employment to 17 cricketers, mostly from United. DMC had shut their cricketing activities due to poor performance of the company under strict government norms for fertilizer firms.

Quite a lot of good club cricketers — Kaluram Pagare, Colly Pednekar, Ravi Shetty, Shamsher Nagvekar, Prasad Kanvinde — played for DMC earlier.
