England`s spinner Jack Leach who is ruled out of the ongoing test series against India, revealed that he will undergo surgery on his left knee. He sustained the injury during the first test match against India.

Leach in an attempt to stop the boundary on the first day of the first test collided with the ground. On day two of the match, Leach aggravated the injury, which meant he picked a swelling on his injured knee and was unable to bowl long bowling spells, though he did bowl 26 overs in the first innings.
