Young batsman Callum Ferguson, who has been out of the Australian squad for almost a year with injury, is eyeing upon the Australia's tour of India in October to resume his fledgling international career.

"Ferguson has been testing his mended knee with South Australia in Darwin, caressing a century against the Indian provincial side Maharashtra before playing in an experimental split innings fixture against Tasmania," The Age reports.
