Franchisees averse to Ranji Trophy being held before IPL

The BCCI office-bearers on Thursday held a meeting to discuss conducting the domestic season with COVID-19 cases dropping in the country

With the BCCI contemplating holding the Ranji Trophy before the Indian Premier League (IPL), the franchises are not happy with this decision. 

It is understood that they have expressed their concerns to the BCCI and urged them not to hold the premier first-class tournament before the cash-rich T20 league as they fear injuries could jeopardise their teams.
