Deccan Chargers captain Adam Gilchrist won the toss and asked Chennai Super Kings to bat first in their Indian Premier League match today.

The Deccan Chargers effected two changes in their squad, bringing in Azhar Bilakhia and Shoaib Ahmed, while the Chennai outfit replaced the injured Andrew Flintoff with New Zealand all-rounder Jacob Oram.
