Aston Villa director General Charles Krulak has called on the club's players to "kick the crap" out of their opponents as they attempt to fight their way out of the relegation mire.

Krulak, a Vietnam veteran and former US Marine, compared Villa's current plight to a military campaign in comments issued to fans on the supporters' forum Villa Talk.
