Gujarat defeated Mumbai by eight wickets in a West Zone encounter of the Vijay Hazare National one- day championship at Poona Club yesterday.

Runners-up Mumbai were bowled out for a mere 132 in 37.1 overs.
In reply, Gujarat chased the target in 24.2 overs. Mumbai had won their opening match against Baroda on Thursday.
