New Delhi: Senior South Africa batsman JP Duminy yesterday defended their young bowling attack which failed to defend a decent total of 189 against an inexperienced India A in their warm-up game, saying their focus was assessment of conditions than result.

"I have full confidence in the ability of our bowlers and I will back them hundred percent. I believe they have what it takes to stop the Indian batting line-up. Yesterday was one day where it was about figuring out and assessing what will work for us in these conditions," Duminy said after India coasted to an eight wicket win.
