Defending champions win over the Dutch
England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat first against the Netherlands. Dawid Malan and star all-rounder Ben Stokes played a knock of 87 runs and 108 runs, respectively. The defending champions set a target of 340 runs for the Dutch to chase down.
Skipper Scott Edwards and Teja Nidamanuru both smashed 38 runs and 41 runs but failed to guide their team to a win against England. Moeen Ali and Adil ashid both registered three wickets each under their name. England won the match by 160 runs.
