Tami Nadu batting all-rounder Vijay Shankar has replaced Shikhar Dhawan for the second Test against Sri Lanka in Nagpur. Ishant Sharma is back in the squad in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. According to a BCCI media release, Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar requested the team management and selectors to be released due to personal reasons. While Bhuvneshwar will not be part of the remainder of the series, Dhawan will be available for the third Test.
