After Ishant Sharma and Murali Vijay eased back into Test cricket with a three-wicket burst and a tenth hundred, respectively, Rohit Sharma joined the club with a century that made it four in the innings for India. Elevated to India's ODI vice captaincy this year, Rohit had to endure a long hiatus - 14 Tests on the bounce - after sustaining an thigh injury in the ODIs against New Zealand last year, for another opportunity in white flannels.
