In a move that left most sports fans surprised, ex-India skipper Anil Kumble will replace former South African all-rounder Shaun Pollock as the Mumbai Indians' chief mentor
Former India captain Anil Kumble was on Monday appointed chief mentor of the Mumbai Indians IPL team ahead of the start of the sixth season.
The 42-year-old Kumble not only holds the record of being the highest Indian wicket-taker in both Tests as well as ODIs but is also considered a highly respected sportsman the world over for his enormous experience and cricketing intelligence.
