Cycling star Lance Armstrong, a testicular cancer survivor and Tour de France champ on the comeback trail, is the father of a newborn son, People magazine reported today.

"Armstrong and girlfriend Anna Hansen welcomed a 7 lb., 5 oz, 20-inch-long baby boy named Max, the pro cyclist announced," according to the magazine's online edition.
