MIG Cricket Club’s left-handers—opener Kevin D’Almeida (100) and pacer Harsh Tanna (5-74)—helped the Bandra East club beat National CC by 98 runs in the last league game of the Police Shield at Cross Maidan on Sunday.
Resuming on the overnight score of 308-6, MIG were dismissed for 335 in 68 overs. D’Almeida’s 101-ball knock was laced with 14 fours and two sixes. No. 6 batsman Anand Bais contributed 82 (6x4, 3x6). National CC’s left-arm spinner Shashikant Kadam and pacer Ravinder Solanki claimed three wickets apiece.
