Sidelined by recurrent injuries, India batsman Manoj Tiwary will fly to London on Sunday for a surgery in his twisted left knee.
British orthopaedic surgeon and knee specialist Dr Andrew Williams, who had worked with the likes of Andrew Flintoff, Shoaib Akhtar, and more recently Cheteshwar Pujara, is likely to operate him August 7.
"I'm returning on August 16 and thereafter will go for rehab at NCA (Bangalore)," Tiwary said while felicitating U-17 cricketers of Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy who won CAB Junior Tournament.
