The tremendous run has put him close to Team India selection but Mayank Agarwal said he did not want to think too far ahead. Mayank said he wanted to keep his focus on India 'A' games at hand right now.

Mayank Agarwal of India 'A' scored 220 against SA 'A'
Mayank Agarwal was the standout performer during the previous domestic season, scoring more than 2000 runs across the tournaments. But at times, such massive numbers can put pressure on a batsman to do an encore. Mayank, who had already notched up three List 'A' hundreds in England and a double hundred (220) for India 'A' against South Africa 'A' here, said rather wryly that he was not thinking too much about the Mount 2000 that he scaled last season.
"I am very happy with the way the season has begun and the way I am batting. But you cannot start the new season thinking that you have scored more than 2000 runs last season. Yes, you are confident that you have scored that many runs and you take that confidence into the new season, but you cannot take things for granted and you have to work your way up all over again," said Mayank.
