Though Shah Rukh Khan has apologised to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) for his misbehaviour after Kolkata Knight Riders' win over Mumbai Indians on May 16, the decision to revoke the five-year ban imposed on the Bollywood superstar from entering the Wankhede Stadium now rests on MCA president Vilasrao Deshmukh and the concerned office-bearers.
“It was decided that the final decision will be left to the president (Vilasrao Deshmukh) and concerned office-bearers,” MCA’s joint honorary secretary Dr PV Shetty told MiD DAY after yesterday’s managing committee meeting.
