The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) was forced to shut its Bandra Kurla Complex indoor academy on Thursday after an U-25 Mumbai player tested positive for&nbsp; Coronavirus. &nbsp;
The player, whose test returned positive on Wednesday, was part of the fitness camp.&nbsp;
The academy will be non-operational for three days for sanitisation purposes.
&ldquo;As a precaution, we have cancelled all sessions at the Academy for the next three days. We have asked all players and support staff who were present at the Academy to get tested again,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/mumbai+cricket+association-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">MCA</a>&rsquo;s executive secretary CS Naik stated in an email to the association&rsquo;s Apex Council members.
A few weeks ago, a women&rsquo;s U-19 <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/cricket+news+-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">cricketer</a> tested positive.
