The fifth and final Test between India and England was supposed to be Michael Holding’s last as a commentator, but with the Test being cancelled, the fourth Test at The Oval ended up being the last one that he called.

Interestingly, it was at The Oval in 1976 where West Indies’ Holding witnessed his finest hour—a 14-wicket match haul—against Tony Greig’s Englishmen.
