South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp sent Pakistan crashing out of the ICC Women’s World Cup after the 23-year-old from Port Elizabeth struck her maiden ODI century at Barabati Stadium here yesterday to secure a Super Sixes berth for her team.
After a disappointing start, Kapp (102) and Dane van Niekerk stabilised South Africa’s innings which ended at 202 for five, and later Kapp proceeded to clean up the Pakistan batting line-up for 81 with her useful medium-pace bowling.
