Indian women’s cricket team did not enjoy the same result against arch-rival Pakistan as compared to the men’s team in the World Twenty20.

The Indian eves lost to Pakistan by one run in a nail-biting thriller here yesterday. Set a target of mere 98 runs, the Indians fumbled to finish on 97 for eight in their 20 overs during a Group A clash. They will now have to beat hosts Sri Lanka tomorrow to qualify for the 2014 edition.
