Defending champions Parsee Gymkhana, organisers MIG Cricket Club, Payyade Sports Club and Police Gymkhana entered the semi-finals of the Padmakar Talim Shield (T20) tournament on Sunday.
Parsee Gym outclassed DY Patil Sports Academy (DYPSA) by 30 runs in the first quarter-final at the Wankhede Stadium. Riding on Sachin Yadav’s 30-ball 52 not out (4x4, 2x6) and skipper Akarshit Gomel’s 41 (4x4, 2x6), Parsee Gym posted 187-4 in their 20 overs.
