PJ Hindu Gymkhana snatched an 18-run victory over Mumbai Police Gymkhana in a thrilling first round match of the Bombay Gymkhana-organised Nirlon-RFS-Talyarkhan Memorial cricket tournament at the Bombay Gymkhana ground on Wednesday night.

He was ably supported by Yogesh Dongare 34 runs (18 balls, 1x4, 3x6). Sangram Bhalekar (3-28) and Ravindra Solanki (2-26) were the pick of the Police bowlers.
The Mumbai Police batters put up a good fight but fell short, managing 193-8 in 20 overs. The efforts of Sagar Mishra (71, 46 balls, 6x4, 3x6), Swapnil Kulaye (56, 39 balls, 8x4) and their 122-run stand for the fourth wicket went in vain. Junaid Khan (3-29) and Rahul Sawant (3-33) were the successful bowlers for Hindu Gymkhana.
