Rain forces early end as WI avoid follow-on v SL

Rain forced an early end with the West Indies struggling at 224-9 after avoiding the follow-on on Day Three of the first Test against Sri Lanka here on Tuesday. 

The West Indies added nine runs in 30 balls and lost Rahkeem Cornwall in a brief passage of play after lunch before the heavens opened.
