India`s Rishabh Pant, 23, may have contributed a quickfire 91 with the bat but earlier in the day,  his poor show behind the stumps was exposed again. Yesterday he missed out on stumping Jack Leach (14 not out) in the day’s seventh over when offie R Ashwin drew the Englishman down the track.

On Day 2, when Ollie Pope (34) got a leading edge off Ashwin’s full toss and the ball went behind Pant, the stumper seemed clueless and ran towards point searching for the catch.
