Karachi: The national selection committee ignored senior Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal for the coming one-day series in Sri Lanka after he failed to comply with their instructions and report for the training camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

Chief selector, Haroon Rasheed told PTI that he was very disappointed with the attitude and approach of Umar Akmal.
