BCCI president Sourav Ganguly seems to have his eyes firmly on India’s T20 World Cup, to be in Australia later this year.

He spoke to mid-day on Wednesday about playing on big grounds like Eden Gardens while the hosts were working their way to a win over the West Indies in the first T20I.
“Our bowlers and batters should get acclimatised to bigger grounds. That’s the reason we have requested the IPL franchise owners to play on grounds which have got bigger boundaries,” said Ganguly.
About the 3-0 ODI series win over the WI, Ganguly said: “We have a better-balanced side and our team are doing well. I won’t be surprised if India win the T20I series unless WI improve overnight,” he remarked.
