Momin Saqib, previously renowned for his impassioned 'Maaro Mujhe Maaro' outburst, shared several videos during Pakistan's six-run loss against arch-rivals India in the T20 World Cup 2024 in New York.

Chasing an underwhelming 120-run target, Pakistani batters consumed 59 dot balls to be restricted to 113 for 7 in New York on Sunday.
In one poignant recording, he appeared inconsolable following the loss, captioning it simply with 'No words'. Despite attempts from both Indian and Pakistani fans to uplift his spirits, their efforts proved futile.

In another clip, he expressed his bitter disappointment, lamenting, "We were this much away from the win. We were prepared for the celebration. We did the dinner booking. We arranged for the party. And, then, we had the game in our hand. They snatched it away. They looted us."

Numerous videos depicted Indian cricket enthusiasts endeavoring to console him, while others encouraged him to maintain hope. However, when a fellow Pakistani supporter sought solace from Momin, he responded, "Tumhe dilasa nahi, dawai chahiye (You don’t need consolation. You need medicines)."

Following the match, the actor and presenter shared the video that initially catapulted him to social media stardom. Despite the light-hearted attempts at humour, several other Pakistani fans expressed deep disappointment and criticism towards the team, particularly directed at captain Babar Azam. One individual pledged to 'boycott' Pakistan cricket altogether, urging officials to 'hire a administrators and managers that aren’t political appointees'.

After back-to-back defeats against minnows USA and India, Pakistan's T20 World Cup 2024 Super Eight chances now rests on winning big against Canada and Ireland, besides hoping that the Americans lose to India and Ireland.
