In the T20 World Cup 2024 match against the hosts West Indies, South Africa managed to secure the win by three wickets to qualify for the semi-finals. Tabraiz Shamsi had a pretty bad outing in his match against the USA, but he bounced back by claiming three wickets for 27 runs against West Indies

South Africa has been carrying the unwanted tag of "chokers" for a long time now and wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi is delighted that the new Proteas team managed to get over the line at the T20 World Cup 2024.
So far, Aiden Markram-led South Africa is still unbeaten in the T20 World Cup 2024.
