New Zealand vice-captain Ross Taylor hasn't been in the best form in the last few months, but he made it count on his 27th birthday with an unbeaten hundred in a Group A match against Pakistan here.

Taylor smashed 131 in 124 balls with eight fours and seven sixes to help New Zealand score 92 runs in the last four overs to reach a total of 302 for seven and the right-handed batsman said it was a birthday wish that came true today.
