Armaan, who put on 110 runs with Saurav

Saurav Tendulkar of Gavaskar XI and Virendra Gupta of Madhya Pradesh scored centuries in the league match of an under-14 cricket tournament organised by Dilip Vengsarkar Academy in Mahul. Gavaskar XI who were put into bat by Baroda CA after winning the toss, made 259 for five at the end of the first day's play.

Opener Saurav, who hit 15 fours in his 116, put on 118 runs with Kaushik Kharat (52).

He then put on 110 for the third wicket with captain Armaan Jaffer (65).

For Baroda, medium pacer Nilang Pancholi (2/70) and leg-break bowler Vishambhar Khalon (2/33) claimed two wickets each.
