When Team India takes the field against Australia in the one-day internationals (ODIs) in October, fans will get to see them in brand new uniforms. India&rsquo;s ODI squad has a new jersey by sports apparel company Nike, and it was unveiled on Monday on Twitter. Off-spinner R Ashwin tweeted, &ldquo;Surprised a few young cricketers with the new India jersey. Sure was a dream come true for them! Interestingly, Nike had launched a new Twenty20 kit for the Indian team in August last year. But a superstitious BCCI had ordered the team to wear the same jersey design that won them the 2011 World Cup for World Twenty20 in a bid to bring them good luck. The move to drop the new jerseys came less than a month after they were unveiled last year.
