Two dead in Brazil World Cup stadium accident, Sepp Blatter expresses regret

Two workers were killed Wednesday when a crane collapsed at the stadium which will host the opening game of next year's World Cup, dealing a fresh blow to Brazil's troubled build-up to the tournament.

Police in Sao Paulo said the workers at the Arena Corinthians stadium were crushed to death as they scrambled to meet a December 31 set by football's governing body FIFA to complete work at the venue.
