Pietersen picked up the $475,000 Gallardo LP560-4 in Chapel St yesterday.<br /><br />"This is Warnie's patch and when I'm in town, he looks after me," Pietersen said.<br /><br />"Just the same as Sachin (Tendulkar) does in Mumbai or (Sourav) Ganguly in Kolkata."<br /><br />Pietersen is not playing the tour match against Victoria beginning tomorrow, and plans to take the car for a spin today along the Great Ocean Rd. KP said he was familiar with driving sports cars: "I drive a Range Rover Riviera sports and have driven Ferraris," he said.<br /><br />The England batsman was in a bubbly mood after the win in the Adelaide Test.
