Bangladesh batsman Litton Das, who scored a hard-fought 73 on a tough Mirpur surface to take his team to a decent total against India on Saturday, was confident of his team’s chances of victory.

“We have dismissed India’s four leading batters and are definitely hoping to clinch the Test on Sunday [today]. We definitely have a plan for the win. Our players are fully charged up and the visiting team have certainly come under pressure. We will take advantage of the situation,” Litton said after the day’s play.


“It is possible to win if we can take one or two more wickets early in the morning. Rishabh and Iyer are yet to come, they are of course good players, but as I said if we can take one or two more wickets they will remain under pressure,” he added.
