Ahead of the upcoming Women`s Premier League (WPL) 2026, the Mumbai Indians` (MI) captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, feels that the competition in the league will help players perform well in international cricket.

While speaking to the media, she said, "The competition in the WPL is very high, and you play good cricket there. If you can perform well there, you`ll encounter all those players at the international level. So I think when you perform well against them there, it stays in everyone`s mind that this player did very well in the WPL. That`s why you can also do well in international cricket".
